Can anyone who had a procedure from Dr. Armani tell me when the scabs are supposed to fall off?  I was told by two weeks scabs should be completely gone? When i got my procedure the scabs completely came off by two weeks which i thought was supposed to happen.  My friend just got a procedure done and at two weeks his head is still all scabed.  He was told that they should stay on for 4 weeks.  Can anyone tell my from there past experience how long it took for there scabs to fall off?

I have been researching a long time, different doctors and on different forums. The shedding of scabs seems like it can be anytime between 2-4 weeks, it varies alot between people. Dr. Armani's post op regimine is pretty conservative, so if you followed it well you should be ok.

I have always thought the quicker the scabs fell off the better because they healed faster. That seems to be a good thing!

up to two weeks i followed it to a T, after two weeks i slipped up a little bit.  If i followed it up two two weeks and than fell off the Dr. Armani direction should i be worried about growth?  I was told after 1 week the implants are secure, can anyone advise?

After 7-10 days the follicals are secure in the body. That is the most important time for sure.

Yeah, if you were careful the first two weeks and followed Dr. Armani's instructions you are golden.

eric,

when they said this was the hardest part they werent kidding. hahaha

You said it. The first month goes by fast because you are caring for your grafts. Month 2 can be long because you are back to normal and just waiting to see growth. But once that growth starts, months 3, 4 and 5, it feels awesome!!

i am at 7 weeks on Thursday and i see growth already not a lot but i see all the hair starting to pop up.  The are more hairs popping up on one side than the other.

ON the 3rd month can anyone tell me what it is going to look like?  Like am i going to have the  majority of the recipient area filled in or is going to be spotty?  Also does the growth happen like over night or from this point on should i be seeing gradual growth?

Thanks for all the comments.

The procedure was good it is exactly what they said it is going to be.  I was very nervous that i was being told one thing and was going to experience something different but that wasnt the case. It was an easy process a little annoying after a while because you are in the chair for a whole day. For me the hardest things are right now waiting for growth and commiting to getting the procedure.

You can really believe what they tell you because it is the truth. I got my procedure done in June and my friends all want to get it done already one of them even went to get his done in July.  I will post pics once i get growth the pics now wouldnt be that nice only because i still have some redness.

I hope the earl signs of growth will mean that this is going to come out good.  I know it will be i am very impatient.

what does that mean that its a good sign?  I was thinking that early growth just mean that i was an early grower.

What are some good signs to look for and some bad signs to look for?

Everyone grows at different rates, you really just have to wait and see. You may get some very early growth and it might taper off for several months, or you might get a lot of growth very early. There is no way to predict how everyone's body will heal. You'll just have to be patient, and believe me, THAT is the hardest part.

Things are going good so far.  Everyone is telling me that it looks really good.  I have alot of early growth and my hairline is starting to get darker.  It seems like everyday at this point hair is popping out from different areas.  At this point the growth is happening on one side more than the other but i hear that is supposed to happen.  My friend and I both got the procedure done within a month a part and we work in the same office so it is very interesting seeing where he is at and where i am at.  I kind of wish he went first so i would have known what to expect but it is good we are both going through the same thing at the same time.

At two months the redness is almost all gone i have some bumps where the grafts were placed which is the only sign i got something done besides hairs growing out along my new hairline.  My temples arent showing any growth though which i am wondering about.  Based off of Dr. Armani booklet i think i am moving along really really quickly.

I really think working out, eating right, alot of water, and vitamins help with the recovery because i am a little more active and healthy than my friend and my scabs and redness were gone way quicker than his.  We shall see how the result comes out i will post pics once i have a hairline.  Does anyone have any feed back?
