How long do you have to wait before going tanning after a hair transplant?

Dr. Armani's book says 1 year, but i dont know how conservative or not conservative that is.

Any one know?

i am talking 5 or 6 months down the line if your hair is growing out and the recipient area is all covered.  Are we good to tan?

I recall after my procedure that Dr. Armani suggested waiting 1 year before tanning in order not to compromise the grafts i any way.

I think better safe than sorry, and give the grafts the best chance they have to reach their full potential.  12 months is not a long time to wait.  But if its a must, then just make sure you wear a hat etc.

what about the mystic tanning?

you know the spray on tan or the creams/lotions. will those cause any problems?
