Hey everyone,

Is anyone out there taking this as opposed to propecia/ or even in combo with propecia?

Would really like to hear from anyone who has had positive results with this product.

Cheers

Dan

I used dut for a year and it didnt help me at all and I had side effects. You are much better off using 1mg finasteride every day and minoxidil twice a day if you can. Ive experimented with different mixtures with minox including spironolactone and retin-a. Ive gotten pretty good results along with my surgery for sure. If 5% isnt working for you, you might want to consider using a higher dose, it seems to be dose dependant as long as you are using a penetration media.

Just because a dut gave you side effects and didn't work for you does not mean it won't work for him or give him the same side effects, so it's probably best not advise him against it.

I know tons of people beyond satisfied with it, including myself. Some people get little to no sides. Some get sides and leave the drug, or get a shed and leave the drug. Most of these people react off of impulse ignoring the medical facts and studies on dut.  Fact of the matter is that most people that do experience sides (studies have proven this as well) experience it no longer than a few months, because they go away. As far as the shed goes, I frown upon the ignorance of those who claim a drug that causes a shed is bad for your hair and advise people to get of the drug when they claim they're going through the shed. Same goes for the individuals taking hair loss treatment and leaving it right away because they go through a shed. That's sheer stupidity, especially because the drug manufacturers, doctors, hair transplant surgeons, studies... all state aforetime that a shed is likely with hair loss meds - forcing the hair (that were going to fall out soon anyway) to fall out and is replaced by new thicker and healthier hair that "stays".

My suggestion is if you want to take the drug, roll up your sleeves and give it a shot for 1 yr. Tell yourself that if you experience sides you will bare with them and complete your 1 yr mark. And no, it makes no sence taking propecia and dut together. Taking on dut per week blocks more dht than taking propecia everyday!

By the way, can the moderator pls move this thread to the proper forum section? This is the wrong place for this thread.
