I have to agree with Westside. You have no recession and are baerly thinning if that/ The grafts will have to be placed all in between you hair, you are a candidate for shockloss.

I would not advise a hair transplant for you. Get on meds and see if they thicken you up a bit.

LOL its funny that you guys say that because im in another hairloss forum and im the one who usually says " your not balding at all" or "i would kill for your hair" but the truth is im a nw1 heading to a nw2 but i cant grow my hair at all like i said it looks horribly thin it looks decent in the pic because it buzzed and blends in

however i know im just 22 i been on propecia for 6 months and no result at all , i tried diff types of minoxidil's but they all irritate my scalp very bad so im on propecia and nizoral for now

but if i see no results in a year i want to consider a minor transplant for the front so it could look decent

It can take a year to see any results from proecia. Stay on it for a full two years and then make a decision. You'll be 24-25 then and have a better idea.

Hey Man
Listen, I'm 22 and know what your going through. My friend it just like you...he is not losing his hair line, but is very thin up top. Like full head of hair but see thru. I'm at about a nw3 right now and even I'm waiting until I'm 25 since many doctors advice you to do so. I have been on propecia for a year as well. I could tell you that it didn't grow hair, and i actually did lose some hair at the crown, but not that much. I don't know if it's helping, but I would assume it slowed it down. Honestly, if your hair looks "normal" buzzed be thankful. I have a "v" hairline now and forced to have bangs to cover it.

Have you tried Rogaine Foam? It is the only one that does not irritate my scalp; luckily it seems to work better as well... I would recommend finding a form of it that works for you, because it is the most effective and you want to do all you can to stop the loss before looking at a transplant. Once you know how you respond to the meds, then you can make an informed decision about a transplant.
